The Fox Annual No1
Don’t miss out out on a Christmas bumper book of Foxes fun, including interviews with legendary goalscorer David Kelly and local stopper Richard Stearman, plus FiftySomething, topical features, tearjerking nostalgia and tons more.
The Fox Fanzine followed the contrasting fortunes of Leicester City for 35 years from 1987 to 2022.
This timespan saw the lows of five relegation seasons, including a debut dip into the third tier and a period in administration – but, more importantly, we were also there for the highs of five promotions, a Premier League title, a journey to the Champions League quarter-finals and the lifting of the FA Cup trophy that had long eluded the club. Through the good times and the bad, we always tried to see the funny side.

Although the fanzine had to end, there was no way we could cope with a clean break, so here is the first FOX ANNUAL. It includes some familiar features: 100 Objects, Get With the Programme, Fanatical Frank, Rewind, Foxed in the Head, player interviews, FiftySomething, John Hutchinson’s dip into the club archives; some old ones return, like Unforgettables; plus there’s loads of new material and graphical content that we didn’t have room for in the fanzine.
So strap yourselves in for another ride on the rattling Leicester City rollercoaster – UP THE CITY!

Highs, Lows & Di Canios
HIGHS LOWS & DI CANIOS is the West Ham Book of the Decade, brought to you by viral sensation and West Ham United programme regular Sid Lambert, together with Dave Walker and ExWHUEmployee – the well-known voices behind the highly popular The West Ham Way’s multi-channel content.
Be the first kid in your street to own HIGHS, LOWS & DI CANIOS.
HIGHS, LOWS & DI CANIOS is a rollercoaster ride through one of the most turbulent decades in Claret & Blue history: the 1990s. A decade which included one relegation, two promotions, three managers, an FA Cup semi-final and, ultimately, a European adventure.
The creation of the Premier League changed everything, with the arrival of continental superstars and an explosion in wages and transfer fees. What didn’t change was the agony and ecstasy of being a West Ham fan. Knowing deep in your heart that another disaster was always around the corner…

In typically hilarious, passionate, analytical style, Sid, Ex and Dave remember Iain Dowie’s own goal at Stockport, being knocked out of the FA Cup by Torquay, and Marco Boogers going to live in a caravan (allegedly). And yet in the darkest hour, new heroes would emerge. A young Stuart Slater lifted the gloom, Julian Dicks became an Upton Park legend, and Paolo Di Canio’s genius had the Chicken Run singing opera long into the East End night.
HIGHS, LOWS & DI CANIOS recreates the raw emotion of life at the Boleyn during the ‘90s. A time that was unpredictable, unprecedented and when you could guarantee only one thing: fortune was always hiding. Features a foreword by West Ham legend Julian Dicks, and an Introduction by Hammers hero Tony Cottee.

Back in the 1970s, a small Midlands underwear firm changed football forever when they won the contract as England’s kit supplier. Admiral Sportswear’s bold designs and branding were controversial at the time, but helped pioneer today’s multi-billion-pound sportswear industry. It was Admiral that invented the replica football strip and revolutionised the worlds of football finance and street fashion alike – before their colourful empire finally came crashing down around them.

A long-awaited labour of love from Andy Wells, director of the brilliant ITV documentary, GET SHIRTY is the definitive, lavishly illustrated account of the untold Admiral story.
Drawing on hours of previously unheard interviews and years of research, it reveals the true stories behind Coventry City’s infamous chocolate-brown strip and England’s disastrous kit fiasco at the 1982 World Cup finals. Read about Admiral’s Wales international shirt bonfire, Manchester United’s laundry scandal – and the deals that got away, including the prototype Liverpool kit that saw Bill Shankly clash with directors at Liverpool.
